Oregon Gov. Tina Kotek announced the members of the state’s new Prosperity Council on Thursday. The council’s members represent different regions of the state, critical industry sectors, and labor groups. The council will advise Kotek on short-term and long-term strategies to accelerate Oregon’s economy, create good paying jobs, and grow Oregon businesses.

The 16-member council includes Robert Camarillo, executive secretary of the Oregon State Building and Construction Trades Council; Andrew Colas, president of Colas Construction; Dave Drinkward, president and CEO of Hoffman Construction; and Jordan Schnitzer, president and CEO of Schnitzer Properties.

The council will hold its first meeting this month and deliver a report with recommendations by June 30. The group will determine a public engagement strategy to solicit feedback from Oregonians as it conducts its work, according to a press release.

Kotek announced her Prosperity Roadmap last month. One of its goals is to remove barriers to growth and incentivize investment. During the 2026 legislative session, Kotek plans to prioritize a bill that aims to establish a new FastTrack Program. It would support large projects that have the potential to create jobs and grow Oregon’s gross domestic product.

In addition, the governor will soon announce the state’s new chief prosperity officer.
