A $1 million new construction permit was issued for a three-story, six-unit apartment building at 2416 N.E. Flanders St. The applicant is Steven Fosler of Fosler Portland Architecture, the owner is Yoni Schwartz of Los Angeles and the contractor is GSI Builders Inc.

Office building rising in the Pearl District
Nearly two-thirds of the Overton Pearl, a five-story office building in Portland's Pearl District, will house the U.S. Bureau of Citizenship and Immigration Services.
North Park Blocks building renovated
The shell of a one-story, 22,000-square-foot building on Portland's North Park Blocks is being renovated to become two leasable spaces - one for retail and one for office. The building at the corner of Northwest Park Avenue and Everett Street has high ceilings with sand-blasted wooden beams.
Overton Pearl rising in Northwest Portland
According to the U.S. General Services Administration, two-thirds of the Overton Pearl office building at 1455 N.W. Overton St. will be the new home for the U.S. Bureau of Citizenship and Immigration Services.
