Development in the works for Northwest riverfront area

Opportunity is being pursued along the waterfront in Northwest Portland. One multifamily project is in the works and potential exists for two others along the quarter-mile stretch of Northwest Front Avenue between the Fremont Bridge and Northwest Sherlock Avenue. Altogether, the developments could total nine buildings and more than 400 units.

Portland real estate company acquires Washington firm

Guardian Real Estate Services LLC has acquired Everett, Wash.-based Legacy Management Group. The acquisition gives Guardian the operations for all of Legacy Management Group’s multifamily properties in Washington, Oregon, Texas, Arizona, Utah and Alaska. The merger expands Guardian’s portfolio by 150 properties, bringing the company’s collection to more than 18,000 multifamily units.
