With fewer than 24 hours to spare, developer Chuck Sides on Monday paid the city of Keizer $627,000 to keep officials from foreclosing on two of his properties. He failed, however, to pay on a third property. That one went to foreclosure as scheduled on Tuesday and was sold at auction back to the city of Keizer (the sole bidder) for $602,000.
