Moody Avenue reconstruction planned to be mostly finished by fall
When work on Southwest Moody Avenue is done, the road will be higher in the middle and have an at-grade crossing with light-rail tracks as they approach a new transit bridge nearby. The road also will include three traffic lanes and bike and pedestrian facilities.

FTA announces grant for Moody Ave. project
The Federal Transit Administration announced today that it has given the Portland Bureau of Transportation a $23.2 million grant to help rebuild Moody Avenue in Portland's Southwest Waterfront District.
Construction begins on Moody Avenue project
Crews began this week to prepare Moody Avenue for integration with a new transit bridge that will be a part of TriMet's Portland-to-Milwaukie light-rail project
OHSU plans for South Waterfront district energy
Groundwork is being completed for a district energy system at the planned Oregon Health and Science University Schnitzer campus on the South Waterfront. But parts of the plan require integration with the Southwest Moody Avenue project, whose completion deadline falls before OHSU's.
Team scrambles for project funding
Planners for the Innovation Quadrant transportation project have secured federal stimulus funding for only one third of their project sites and trying to find the rest.
