Portland City Council agrees to fund part of Oregon Sustainability Center
Portland City Council today voted 3-2 in favor of a resolution supporting the Oregon Sustainability Center.
Oregon Sustainability Center gets $1.5M grant; other funding being debated
The Oregon Sustainability Center received a boost on Tuesday with a $1.5 million grant from the Federal Commerce Department’s Economic Development Administration. The grant, awarded to the Oregon University System, Portland State University and the city of Portland will fund infrastructure for the project, according to University System spokeswoman Di Saunders.

Approximately 130,000 square feet of retail, office and classroom space will be in the Oregon Sustainability Center. A 350-seat auditorium will provide classroom space for Portland State University.
