Scappoose High School getting remodel
A remodel and addition are under way at Scappoose High School. The remodel, which is nearly finished, consists of numerous classroom upgrades as well as the installation of a new fire sprinkler system and a fiber-optic cable system.
Gresham Armory
The Gresham Armory is undergoing a renovation and receiving a 1,500-square-foot addition. The exterior of the original, 13,800-square-foot structure is getting a new roof and metal siding, while the interior is getting an extensive upgrade.
Portland Union Station renovation begins in June
The project to repair Portland's Union Station starts in June and should last nine months. It features major repairs to the characteristic red roof, as well as seismic upgrades to roof and wall structures, repairs and installations of new skylights and windows, work to refurnish doors and application of new paint. Work involves lead and asbestos abatement.
