Two general contracting firms are currently working on a former Meier and Frank warehouse that will soon host offices for Vestas and Gerding Edlen. Skanska USA will wrap up work on the building鈥檚 core and shell in the next three to four months, and Howard S Wright started work on the tenant improvement for Vestas鈥� offices in October.

Wind power manufacturer Vestas announced Friday the launch of what it claims will be the world鈥檚 most efficient wind turbine. The offshore turbine has a seven-megawatt capacity and a rotor diameter of 164 meters.
