MAX, WES rides increase
Ridership on TriMet's MAX light-rail and Westside Express Services lines appears to be growing.The number of rides on the two lines increased by 6.1 and 9.8 percent per week, respectively, in December 2010, compared with the agency's numbers for December 2009.
One year later, WES still on track
Though the goal of was always a stretch, the one-year-old Westside Express Service train falls well short of its goal of 2,400 riders a day. The WES carries an average of 1,170 passengers.
