PGE completes Biglow Canyon wind farm
Portland General Electric flipped the switch on the final phase of its Biglow Canyon Wind Farm this week. The 217-turbine project in Sherman County has the capacity to produce 450 megawatts of electricity.
Helix wind development plans expansion
It's windier in Umatilla County than developer Iberdrola Renewables previously thought. The wind developer has submitted a request to the Oregon Department of Energy to add 102 megawatts of turbines to its Helix Wind Power Facility project north of Helix in Umatilla County.
