Hole awaits concrete and steel

Excavation is complete and now all construction work will be going upward on the Park Avenue West Tower in downtown Portland. When completed in 2010, the 33-story mixed-use project will be the third tallest building in Portland. The new structure will have five levels of underground parking, three stories of retail space, 86 residential units and several stories of Class A office space. TVA Architects designed the tower that is being built by general contractor Hoffman Construction Co.
