Bullis Reservoir is a 243-foot-diameter, 10-million-gallon, potable water reservoir in Medford.
All interior work is to be accessed via two 3.8-foot-square roof hatches. This work will include all scaffolding and dehumidification required to access the interior of the roof, relief cut existing concrete patch area, removal of existing defective concrete, removal of all failing expansion joint material, hydro-blasting the concrete, coating the exposed reinforcing steel, and installing shotcrete and fiber reinforced polymer, new stainless steel overflow piping, interior ladder, fall protection system, exterior guardrail, exterior ladder system, and other work.
Any successful bid must include cleanup of the reservoir to a point that will satisfy any necessary testing for use in the water delivery system.
A pre-bid meeting will be held on Aug. 4 at 2 p.m. at 200 S. Ivy St. in Medford.
Notice of award will be Sept. 17 and notice to proceed is scheduled for Sept. 29. The project will be completed by Dec. 11. The estimated cost is $130,000.
