Beaverton School District is Oregon’s third-largest school district. It serves a 57-square-mile area of eastern Washington County and the city of Beaverton. The district has 63 buildings consisting of 33 elementary schools, eight middle schools, five high schools, eight specialty education facilities and nine ancillary support facilities. The buildings range in age from 1915 to 2009, and have approximately 4.4 million square feet of occupied space.

The district is executing an aggressive capital improvement program that includes adding two new elementary schools, expanding capacity at 10 schools and adding a new specialty high school. Also on tap is a series of physical facility improvement projects and education facility improvement projects for most of the district’s schools.

The purpose of the request for qualifications is to establish a list of prospective law-abiding consultants who are interested in providing architectural, engineering, land surveying and other planning and construction-related consulting services.
