Wilburton Hill Park consists of 105.49 sculpted acres at 12012 Main Street in downtown Bellevue, Wash. The park has a wide variety of recreational opportunities, including trails, two baseball fields, a picnic area, the Bellevue Botanical Garden, a soccer field, and a play area that features a zip line and wooden playhouses.

This project will transition the existing all-weather soccer field to synthetic turf. Perimeter site improvements are included in the bid, as well as a rubberized running track, a drinking fountain, a concrete staircase, chainlink fencing and pedestrian pathway improvements. Only skilled operators that have completed at least five synthetic field installations may bid on the project.

The system shall consist of an infilled synthetic grass system that provides the look, feel and playability of natural grass with respect to ball speed and bounce, while providing maximum safety. The system will be designed specifically to accommodate soccer and lacrosse. All components shall be nontoxic, and resistant to weather, insect infestation, rot, fungus, mildew, ultraviolet light and heat degradation.

A pre-bid site walk-through/inspection will be held on Friday at 1:30 p.m. at the park soccer field.
The contractor must be available to commence work on Sept. 21, and the work shall be completed in 125 working days.
