This project consists of Bid Package No. 1 for the Western Oregon University Health and Wellness Center project in Monmouth. Work for this bid package includes earthwork, utilities, concrete, and below-grade plumbing and electrical.

The general contractor and owner are committed to implementing work practices consistent with requirements necessary to achieve LEED gold certification. Subcontractors must provide supporting documentation for each applicable LEED credit being sought in their scope, and must comply with the general contractor’s waste recycling efforts. Subcontractors and vendors also shall provide monthly stimulus package project reporting until work is completed.

The general contractor is committed to actively pursuing Oregon subcontractors, suppliers, materials and supplies that originate in Oregon.

A pre-bid meeting and a site visit – attendance is not mandatory, but is strongly encouraged – will begin at 11 a.m. on Aug. 27 at the WOU Health and Wellness Center project site. Bidders shall meet at Jackson Street, next to the pool building.
