The city of Oregon City has purchased a former medical clinic built in the 1930s to become its new city hall. The interior of the 15,000-square-foot building at 406 Seventh St. is undergoing an extensive renovation. The brick exterior has been cleaned and old mortar has been replaced. CresaPartners is the project manager, Team Construction is the general contractor and LRS Architects is the designer of the remodel that should be completed in October.

Built in 1977, the Sol apartments in North Portland have been through an extensive remodel and are ready for occupancy. The 10 rental units each have two bedrooms and one bathroom. The building at the corner of North Ivanhoe Street and Mohawk Avenue has new plumbing, bamboo flooring, cabinets, carpets, doors, windows, siding, lighting and paint. Aspen Building and Development is the general contractor on the project that was designed by Allusa Architecture.

The renovation of the 1910 Chateau apartments for the Housing Authority of Portland is under way in Southeast Portland. The affordable housing development at the corner of Southeast Stark Street and 19th Avenue is getting new paint, doors, carpet, plumbing, lighting and finishes. The remodel, which is being performed by general contractor Seabold Construction, will be finished in early fall.
