The project consists of providing upgrades to the existing Water Station 9 facility located in Vancouver, Wash.
Work for the project includes the replacement of an existing 450-kilowatt generator with a new owner-named 600-kilowatt generator, replacement of electrical equipment in wells 3, 4, 5, 6 and 7. A new telemetry wiring system will be installed to provide communication between the Water Station 9 well houses, generator building, reservoir and the booster pump station.
The project also will include installation of a new reservoir backfill valve vault and associated controls and appurtenances, replacement of the flow meter for wells 6-7, and replacement of the flow meter and associated vaults for wells 3-5.
There will be a non-mandatory pre-bid meeting on Sept. 15 at 1 p.m. at the city of Vancouver’s Marine Park Engineering building at 4500 S.E. Columbia Way.
The work under this contract will be fully completed within 210 calendar days from date of notice to proceed.
