Bid Date/Time: Sept. 21, 2009, 2 p.m.
Lane Community College is seeking proposals from Oregon registered architects to provide architectural services for two separate projects: the remodel of the Health Careers Building No. 4 and the remodel/addition to the Physical Education Building No. 5. Both buildings are on the main campus at 4000 E. 30th Ave. in Eugene.
All of the work will be designed and built to comply with the U.S. Green Building Council’s Leadership in Energy & Environmental Design program at the silver level. The college wants to use the traditional design/bid/build method for these projects.
The estimated construction budgets for the projects are $1,747,000 for Building No. 4 and $4,646,000 for Building No. 5. The work is expected to be assigned to the selected firm in October.
A mandatory pre-proposal meeting will be held at the college in Building No. 5, Room 206, from 4 to 5 p.m. on Sept. 17. Any firm intending to make a proposal must attend this meeting. Proposals from firms not present at the meeting will be rejected.
