The city of Pendleton is issuing a Request for Qualifications to firms interested in a design/build project in which two existing buildings will be remodeled.

The buildings, at 622 Airport Road in Pendleton, will be occupied by the city of Pendleton Police Department, the Oregon State Police and the Oregon State Crime Laboratory. The city has purchased the two buildings, which were formerly used as a juvenile multi-treatment center.

The city is seeking a design/build team that includes a contractor and an architect or engineer of record to certify that the requested changes are accomplished in accordance with all applicable Oregon Revised Statutes, Oregon Administrative Rules and/or other applicable codes and standards.

There will be a required site visit and walk-through of the buildings for all interested parties on Oct. 13 at 2 p.m.
