An extensive renovation to an industrial building at 1705 N.W. 14th Ave. in Portland’s Pearl District is nearly finished. Magnum Opus Salon is set to move into the space after the interior was completely remodeled, and seismic, mechanical and electrical upgrades were performed. The building’s huge wooden trusses have been left exposed after sand blasting and refinishing. Some punch-list items remain before interior, sidewalk and lighting work is completed. In Line Commercial Construction is the general contractor for the renovation, and Fosler Portland Architecture performed design work.
