Trask River High School provides education to youths housed in facilities managed by the Oregon Youth Authority. The school provides 5.5 hours of instruction per day for 220 days per year to youth offenders housed at Camp Tillamook.

The camp was constructed in 1956 as a minimum security facility. Today the facility is designed to assist male offenders in transition from OYA correctional institutions to their communities. Youth offenders at Camp Tillamook oftentimes spend three to six months there.

This project consists of the construction of an addition to the existing, partially completed building, along with remodeling and completion of construction of the existing building on the OYA Tillamook campus.

A nonmandatory pre-bid meeting is scheduled for Monday at 10 a.m. at the Camp Tillamook Youth Correctional Facility, 6820 Barracks Circle in Tillamook.

Construction on the project is scheduled to be completed within 180 calendar days from the notice to proceed. The cost estimate for the project is $750,000 to $1 million.
