The Snohomish County Fire District 1 is accepting bids for a project to make improvements to the headquarters building at 12425 Meridian Ave. in Everett, Wash. The Snohomish County Fire District 1 is the largest provider of fire and emergency medical services in south Snohomish County, serving more than 150,000 residents in 36 square miles.

This project includes the general remodel of the first floor of approximately 18,659 square feet. Work includes demolition and/or repair of selected existing walls, and construction of new walls, new ceilings, new floor finishes, and paint throughout. The remodeled space includes a new kitchen, laundry room, exercise room, locker rooms, meeting rooms and training rooms.

A mandatory pre-bid walk-through will be held Tuesday at 10 a.m.

Substantial completion shall be completed no more than 42 calendar days from the notice to proceed. Final completion of the work shall be completed no more than 30 calendar days after substantial completion.
