Sub-Bid Bid Date/Time: Nov. 6, 2009, 4 p.m.

This project consists of additions and alterations to the Brookings Medical Center located at the corner of Fifth Street and Easy Street in Brookings. Bid Package No. 1 consists of shell and core and Bid Package No. 2 consists of tenant improvements.

The new 34,500-square-foot, concrete-and-steel structure is designed to achieve LEED silver certification. Selected subcontractors will participate with the architect and commissioning authority to evaluate products and procedures used for construction and the effect on various points to be achieved.

CSI divisions include: concrete, metals, wood/plastics/ composites, thermal and moisture protection, openings, finishes, specialties, equipment, furnishings, special construction, conveying equipment, fire suppression, plumbing, HVAC, electrical, communications, electronic safety and security, earthwork, exterior improvements, and utilities.

An estimated total project construction cost is $8 million. The substantial completion of the project is scheduled for Nov. 30, 2010.
