The Tri-Tech Skills Center is a multi-functional building designed to house vocational programs for the Washington school districts of Benton City, Burbank, Finley, Kennewick, Pasco, and Richland.

Vocational programs offered are: auto body technology, auto systems technology, computer systems technology, construction trades, cosmetology, culinary arts, dental assisting, diesel technology, pre-nursing/medical, radio broadcasting and production and many others.

This project involves miscellaneous improvements to the Tri-Tech Skills Center at 5929 W. Metaline Ave. in Kennewick, Wash. Work will be divided into three separate projects.

Project 1 consists of construction of a three-story training facility and associated site improvements in the northeast corner of the existing east parking area.

Project 2 includes miscellaneous improvements to the existing auto and diesel classrooms, shops and mezzanines, and construction of a new air compressor room under the existing canopy.

Project 3 includes miscellaneous mechanical improvements at two modular classroom buildings, the kitchen, and throughout the facility.

The engineer’s estimated cost for the construction is $500,000 to $600,000.
