Two houses are being moved from the north side of the campus to make room for a new athletic complex that will cover four square blocks. The houses, owned by the dean of the university, are being transported five blocks, and will receive new foundations, new utility lines and a bio-swale for site drainage. Mechanical, electrical and cosmetic upgrades are also planned for the houses, which will be used as off-campus student rentals. Two new detached garages also will be added. General contractor duties were performed via a joint venture between Pillar Development and SKS Development. Northwest Structural Moving transported the houses.
