An MJS Contracting crew is busy at work on a new Portland metro area Big Al鈥檚 Bowling Center and Sports Bar. At 66,000 square feet and two stories, the new center at the corner of Southwest Horizon Boulevard and Barrows Road in Beaverton is larger than the original in Vancouver, Wash.

The new facility will have 42 lanes, a 6,000-square-foot arcade, a 7,000-square-foot sports bar and grill, pool tables, party rooms, a virtual golf and gaming center and a 50-foot-wide projection screen. Kirkwood

Construction is the general contractor and Scott Edwards Architecture is the designer of the project, which should be completed this summer.
