The building formerly known as the Children’s Receiving Center will be renovated to become the Gateway Center for Domestic Violence Services. The new center, at 10305 E. Burnside St. in Portland, will provide a central location for services such as counseling, legal aid and restraining orders. The center will provide housing aid but will not provide overnight shelter.

The scope of work for this project is the construction of interior remodeling (phases 2 and 3) and construction of exterior alterations (phase 4). Some of the work includes: concrete, metal fabrications, carpentry, openings, toilet compartments, floor treatments, mechanical and electrical. Suggested divisions of work for M/W/ESB participation are concrete work, electrical, floor coverings, HVAC, painting/wallpapering and plumbing.
