Tussing Park, at 800 W. Park St. in Grants Pass, is a newer park featuring landscaping, picnic benches and views of the Rogue River. A foot bridge connects Tussing Park with Reinhart Volunteer Park.

The project consists of the installation of a parking lot, general excavation, grading, curbs, storm drain installation, signage, bicycle parking, asphalt placement and striping and other work.

Included in the bid will be the procurement and installation of a prefabricated steel weathered bridge. Pre-approved manufacturers are CONTECH Bridge Solutions of Alexandria, Minn., and EXCEL Bridge Manufacturing Company of Sante Fe Springs, Calif. A different supplier may be used provided the engineer or owner’s agent evaluates the proposed supplier and approves the supplier at least five days prior to bid.

Also included in the project is a two-unit, pre-cast flush toilet restroom facility with maintenance access in the middle.

The work shall be completed no later than 120 calendar days after the engineer gives the contractor a written “Notice to Proceed.”
