Fossil, just three hours drive from the Portland-metro area and two hours drive from Bend, is the site of the only public fossil field in the U.S.

This project consists of Schedule A: resurfacing of streets by providing  asphalt pavement repair, crack sealant, asphalt coated paving strip membrane geotextile, Level 2 MHMAC overlay course with tackcoat, traffic control and other appurtenant work on portions of Main, Third and Fourth streets. Optional Schedules B, C and D include improvements to Ellsworth, Marshall and Rutledge streets.

Award of the project will be contingent upon funding. The owner intends to award the bid at a regularly scheduled Fossil City Council meeting on April 13.

All bidders must be prequalified by the owner a minimum of three days before the bid opening. The owner will accept ODOT or equivalent prequalifications from within the last year.
