Bid Date/Time: April 8, 2 p.m.

This project consists of the replacement of approximately 3,000 lineal feet of water main on Northwest Second Street, Northwest Harwood Avenue and Northwest Meadow Lakes Drive in Prineville.

Work includes traffic control, mobilization, copper pipe, installation of new water meters provided by the city, storm drain removal and replacement, hydrant removal and installation, base rock, AC patching, concrete pads, gate valves, isolation valves, installation of water services and other associated work.

The project will start no sooner than April 22 and is scheduled to be completed by June 4. The engineer’s estimate for the project is $200,000.

A mandatory pre-bid meeting will be held March 25 at 2 p.m. at Prineville City Hall for review of key project elements and so that questions can be answered. A mandatory site visit will follow.

Bids will be opened publicly April 8 at 2 p.m., and the apparent low bidder will be determined. It is anticipated that Prineville City Council will present the intent to award at its meeting on April 13.
