91ÊÓƵ Staff//April 5, 2010//
Bid Date/Time: April 20, 1 p.m.
This project consists of renovations and upgrades to the existing track, field, visitors’ seating and supporting utilities at Quil Ceda Stadium at 5611 108th St. N.E. in Marysville, Wash.
The current sports field was built many years ago and is on a very high water table and therefore does not drain properly. It is very difficult to keep grass growing. Storm drainage, field subsurface drainage, field subgrade establishment, field permeable aggregate, field wash-water system and restoration seeding are part of this project.
Work includes site-work concrete, stone masonry, plastic lumber, painting, flag poles, football scoreboard, goals and equipment, frame-type bleachers, rubberized track surfacing, electrical, earthwork, utilities, and other work.
It is anticipated that the notice to proceed will be issued on or about April 30 (after contractor’s bonds and insurances are submitted and approved). However, construction on the site will not start until May 18. Work will be substantially completed and ready for installation of the turf on July 16.
