The Neonatal Intensive Care Unit at the Southwest Washington Medical Center in Vancouver, Wash. is remodeling 1,500 square feet of space and adding 2,000 square feet to create eight new patient rooms, a larger birthing center and more staff support space. Two skylights are being installed to add abundant natural light to the area. J.E. Dunn Construction is the general contractor and GBJ Architecture is the designer of the project that will be completed by the end of July.
