Green roof at Mirabella

One-ton bags of LiteTop, a lightweight, engineered soil for green roofs, are being hoisted to the 25th floor of the Mirabella, a continuing care retirement community in Portland’s South Waterfront District. Snyder Roofing is installing green roofs on parts of several floors of the 30-story high-rise. The Mirabella is being built by general contractor Hoffman Construction Co. from a design by Ankrom Moisan Associated Architects.
