Work is continuing on an extensive renovation of the five-story Martha Washington Building at 1115 S.W. 11th Ave. in downtown Portland. The building will have 108 affordable housing units, including half for homeless and chronically mentally ill people. General contractor Co. is performing the renovation from plans by for the Housing Authority of Portland. Work on the 1923 building is scheduled to wrap up this summer.
