Bid Date/Time: July 13, 2 p.m.

An existing two-story wood and concrete structure at 20 N.E. Martin Luther King Jr. Blvd. will be remodeled to serve as a crisis assessment and treatment center.

Work is divided into separate bid packages and consists of all scopes. Work includes demolition, concrete, masonry, steel, rough carpentry, finish carpentry, casework, thermal and moisture protection, openings, finishes, fire suppression, HVAC, exterior improvements, utilities, and other work.

The existing Hooper’s Sobering Station/Detox Center on the ground floor is to remain operational during all construction activities; therefore, all bidders will be required to work closely with the general contractor to coordinate construction activities in order to minimize disturbances.

The project is scheduled to start in early August and finish in early February 2011.
