A Request for Proposals was published in March for architecture, engineering and related services for the Multi-Modal Transit Center project in Bend, Ore. Now, the project is out for bid.

The project includes, but is not limited to, a two-story remodel and an addition to an existing structure totaling 14,717 square feet of floor area. The interior remodel will include the conversion of previous office space to create an intermodal transportation (transit) facility and general office space. The addition includes a new entry and a new elevator to facilitate ADA accessibility throughout the building.

Exterior improvements will include parking lot re-design and paving, landscaping, and stormwater drainage amenities.

Alternates include second-floor improvements, exterior cladding glass block and wireless fire-rated safety glass.

Completion is scheduled for Dec. 31.
