This project consists of Bid Package No. 1 for the new Lewis Integrative Science Building at the University of Oregon in Eugene. The building will be constructed on the north side of the campus, north of Deschutes and Oregon halls and east of Streisinger Hall, along Franklin Boulevard.
The 100,000-square-foot building will be four stories and will house research laboratories, faculty offices and common areas. Resources will be shared. One of the floors will be the new home for the university’s Lewis Center for Neuroimaging.
Bid Package No. 1 consists of earthwork, utilities, concrete structure, below-grade waterproofing and elevators.
The total building construction cost is approximately $46 million, and the target for occupancy is 2012.
