A Hillsboro architect pleaded guilty to 10 child pornography counts this week, according to the Oregon Attorney General’s office.
Paul Pavlock of Pavlock Architecture has been under investigation by the state for sharing images and videos depicting the sexual abuse of children. The investigation has led to the arrest of 85 suspects in 20 states and 19 countries and also led to the rescue of two children involved in the pornography ring.
“(The investigation of Pavlock) originated from an anonymous tip,” said Tony Green, spokesman for the Oregon Department of Justice. “That’s how most of these cases get started.”
Besides running his own architecture firm, Pavlov was also an adjunct professor of interior design at Marylhurst University but no longer works there, Green said. His sentencing is scheduled for Nov. 19 in Washington County Circuit Court.
