The Juanita Pohl Center provides nutrition, recreation, and social services to people age 50 and over through a cooperative relationship between the city of Tualatin, the city of Durham and Washington County. The center is managed by Loaves & Fishes Centers Inc.

The city of Tualatin seeks proposals for architectural services to complete schematic design and design development, prepare plans and specifications, assist with bidding, and provide construction administration services for an addition, renovations, and a concrete pathway at the Juanita Pohl Center (formerly the Tualatin-Durham Senior Center) in Tualatin Community Park at 8513 S.W. Tualatin Road.

The city is aiming to expand and ease accessibility, improve health and safety, increase energy efficiency and add space for programs.

City Council will award the agreement on Nov. 22. A construction contract is expected to be awarded in May 2011. Project construction will be completed by Oct. 1, 2011.
