Riley Ranch County Park is at milepost 277 on U.S. Highway 101, slightly west of the community of Hauser and six miles north of North Bend. The 130-acre park is adjacent to the Oregon Dunes National Recreational Area, and has become a popular spot for camping, fishing, horseback riding and ATV riding.
This project consists of a request for proposals from qualified manufacturers to design, engineer and oversee the installation of approximately 180 feet of steel truss bridge approaching and spanning the International Port of Coos Bay railroad tracks at Riley Ranch County Park. The bridge must be designed to accommodate all classes of off-highway vehicle, equestrian and service traffic.
The notice of intent to award is scheduled to be issued Nov. 15.
