The construction team that recently completed the rehabilitation and extension of the north runway at Portland International Airport gathered with others involved in the 11-month project Thursday for its official dedication. The runway was renovated and extended from 8,000 feet to 9,825 feet so that larger aircraft can use it when the south runway closes next spring for an extensive, six-month rehabilitation.
