Built more than a century ago, Education Hall on the Oregon State University campus in Corvallis is in the early stages of phase one of an exterior stone rehabilitation, complete interior, seismic and systems renovation. The four-story, 48,000-square-foot building will be getting green upgrades by installing efficient mechanical and electrical systems, natural daylighting, low-flow plumbing, energy-efficient windows and water-efficient landscaping. When all phases are completed the building will be the home to the OSU School of Education and will also provide the university with general purpose classrooms. General Contractor Fortis Construction is in charge of the project from a design by Fletcher Farr Ayotte Inc.
