West End retail space becoming bike shop

A former clothing store in downtown Portland is in the early stages of being transformed into a bicycle shop. West End Bikes is expected to soon move into the space at the corner of Southwest Stark Street and 11th Avenue. The shop will offer a large array of bikes as well as bicycle clothing, gear and repair. The project team includes general contractor R&H Construction Co. and designer Hennebery Eddy Architects.
