The Metropolitan Exposition-Recreation Commission is requesting bids for work at the Arlene Schnitzer Concert Hall at 1037 S.W. Broadway in Portland. Most of the work will be replacement and repair of concrete cast stone on the exterior facade on the south and west sections.

Work includes replacement of cast stone frieze panels, masonry restoration, caulking, cleaning, sealing, repointing, cement wash, waterproofing, removal of exposed rebar, patch molding and other work.

All work must follow the Guidelines for Rehabilitating Historic Buildings. The primary guideline is to preserve features and resources that distinguish the building’s historic character.
