Oregon State University is seeking qualifications from architectural firms for the development of a classroom building district plan for the Corvallis campus. OSU is planning to demolish Snell Hall on the main campus (as part of a separate project) and construct a new classroom building on the site. Plans also include the conversion of the out-of-use Heat Plant building to accommodate classes and programs. The projects will affect the southeast sector of the main campus and will require thorough planning and study to meet the university’s present and future needs.

The pace of this study will be rapid because most planning, review, presentations and revisions are expected to be completed by June 30, 2011, or approximately four months after execution of the contract.
