This project consists of furnishing all materials, labor and equipment for the construction of the Tooze Road waterline and metering vault for the city of Wilsonville.

The proposed work involves the construction of a 48-inch, cement-lined and coated, welded steel water main and the installation of a concrete, pressure-reducing vault assembly including 24-inch, 18-inch, 12-inch and 8-inch pressure-reducing valves, flow meters, associated ductile iron piping and valves.

To bid on this project, bidders had to respond to the city’s request for qualifications published March 24 and March 31 and be qualified on May 3. The following bidders were prequalified to submit bids on this project: Northwest Earthmovers Inc., Emery & Sons Construction Inc., Dunn Construction Inc., Moore Excavation Inc., NW Kodiak Construction LLC, Kerr Contractors Inc., Landis & Landis Construction LLC, and Jim Smith Excavating Inc. Bids submitted by non-qualified contractors will be returned unopened via certified mail.

The choice of bidder and/or bid rejection will be announced by Jan. 13, 2011. All work shall be completed by Sept. 12, 2011.
