Fort Irwin and the National Training Center in San Bernardino County in California continue to serve as the U.S. Army’s premier training center. Officials from many countries have visited the site and used it as a model to build their own training centers.

This project consists of tenant improvements to Buildings A, B, C and D at the Fort Irwin Town Center. Building A houses a sporting goods store and a UPS store; Building B contains a bookstore, a Starbucks, and a Subway restaurant; Building C houses a dentist’s office; and Building D contains a Pizza Hut restaurant.

Work includes interior finishes, furniture, fixtures and equipment. Mechanical, plumbing, electrical, structural, partition walls and ceilings were completed previously by general contractor Clark Realty Builders. This current scope is to include wall and floor finishes, millwork, and installation of fixtures and equipment. Some decorative lighting also is included in this scope.

The project cost is estimated to be from $500,000 and $1 million, and the construction period is 90 calendar days.
