This project consists of remodel work to Wichita Elementary School, at 6031 S.E. King Road in Clackamas.

Work includes: replacement of windows throughout building per alternates accepted by the owner; installation of ventilation for office spaces; replacement of steam traps; conversion of heating controls to direct digital system; replacement of some classroom sinks; improvement of ventilation for office spaces; replacement of steam traps; conversion of heating controls to direct digital system; replacement of some classroom sinks; improvement of ventilation for the computer lab on the building’s lower level; replacement of the intercom and clock systems; acoustical separation of the stage from the gymnasium; replacement of chalkboards and worn-out tackboards; replacement of window coverings; application of paint in the building’s interior; addition of acoustical wall treatment in the gymnasium; refinish of the gymnasium wood floor; replacement of some floor coverings; upgrade and repair of exterior door hardware; and other work as necessary.

The intent to award is scheduled for approximately March 31. Project completion is anticipated for Aug. 26.
