The Sumpter Valley Dredge State Heritage Area is an 88-acre state park at the base of the Elkhorn Mountains. This project is a request for proposals from qualified professionals for the design and fabrication of eight interpretive panels at the Sumpter Valley Dredge State Heritage Area, which is 27 miles west of Baker City, off Oregon Route 7.
Four trail panels will describe the movement and operation of the dredge and four interpretive panels in the visitor’s center will provide an overview of the dredge and the site. The purpose of these panels is to interpret the history and functions of the dredge while incorporating recommended themes and stories.
The anticipated contract award date is March 1.
