The four-story Move the House Apartments complex in Southeast Portland will have ground-level retail space and three stories of one- and two-bedroom apartments. The unusual name came from the two-story house that was moved from the property and will be renovated as part of the project. A sky-bridge corridor with contemporary glazing will connect the building’s two halves. A street-level courtyard will allow pedestrian movement to the back of the property. Green building aspects include a permeable courtyard surface with vegetated planters to manage storm water.
